Saline tattoo lightening aftercare
Do not touch the treated area with unwashed fingers. It is an open wound.
Keep the area completely dry for 48 hours.
Do not wet the area directly for 7–10 days.
No excessive sweating, gym, sauna, swimming, or heat for 10 days.
Avoid sun exposure and tanning for 10 days.
For the first 2 days, gently blot (do not wipe) any lymphatic fluid with clean, dry cotton if needed.
Do not apply makeup, skincare, sunscreen, or active products to the treated area for 7–10 days.
From Day 3 onward, if advised by your technician, apply a very thin layer of recommended aftercare balm. Use sparingly. Over-application can delay healing.
Do not pick, scratch, peel, or remove scabs.
Do not exfoliate or use retinol, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, or chemical peels for 2 weeks.
After 10 days, if the area is fully healed, you may gradually return to your normal skincare routine.
Saline tattoo lightening healing process
Immediately after treatment, the area may appear red, swollen, and tender. This is normal.
The treated area may appear darker than expected in the first few days.
Light scabbing will form. This is part of the pigment lifting process.
Do not pick the shedding skin.
Mild itching and tightness are normal during healing.
Once the scabs naturally fall off, the area may appear lighter or slightly pink.
Pigment will continue lifting beneath the surface over the next several weeks.
Final lightening results are assessed at 8–12 weeks.
Multiple sessions are typically required for optimal results.
Once fully healed (approximately 10 days), you may apply makeup to the area if desired.

• Do not touch the tattooed area with your fingers as it is an open wound.
• Do not wet your brows for 10 days.
• No excessive sweating or heat for 10 days.
• For the first 2 days you are required to clean your brows with a damp cotton round or plain baby wipe to wipe away naturally occurring lymph fluid. Do not apply cream during these first 2 days.
• Option 1: From day 3-10 you are required to apply a very fine smear of cream provided. This will minimise scabbing and itching. You may wipe your brows clean with a damp cotton round prior to each application of cream.

The gel will dry forming a waterproof barrier to your brows to be able to get them wet. This is for showering only.
• Do not put anything else on brow area for 10 days. This includes cleansers, moisturisers, makeup, sunscreen etc.
• After this 10 day period you may cease applying cream and resume your normal routine.
